Leah and Xavi's Granny.

My granny was born in 1932 in Caithness, which is just about as far north as you can get.
In World war II, there was an airport near granny's house and the german bombers used to bomb it regularly. The first bombs to land on the Uk hit that airfield. One day, when out with her mum on the way to a friends house, the air raid sirens went off and a neighbour of the fried, called granny and her mum into their shelter. When the all clear was sounded, they found the friend they were going to visit's house was flattened.
Granny came to Lochinver in 1950 to work in the hotel with her brother and her sister in the lodge hotel. That summer, the hotel burned to the ground. Even though she lost everything, Granny stayed in Lochinver. br/> Granny is also part of a big family. There was Sandy, John, James, Walter, Betty, Mary-Anne, Bill, Andrew and Granny.

Grannys family lived all over the place, but most of them went back to Caithness in the end.

When Pop was at sea, Granny started running a guest house and she eventually rented out nine rooms. Even when she retired, Granny still kept on renting out a couple of rooms to keep herself busy. She's always busy and she could clean for the country. She only gave up when Dave and Caren bought Davar when she was 82.

Granny loves to travel. Pop just liked warm places.
